Hi, my name is Aimee Hazuda. I am the designer behind The Shapely Knitter
I’m a lifelong crafter focusing on the Power of Knitting. With a background in structural engineering and construction project management, function and beauty play an important role in my life. I’m always looking for a new challenge, whether learning couture sewing techniques or researching sweater-fitting techniques of forgotten eras.My motto is “Vintage Style not Vintage Sizing”. I love the look of classic and vintage knitting patterns of old. I’m on a mission to shake up the current knitting pattern industry by recreating sizing charts to reflect real modern-day bodies, in particular full-busted bodies. From there to creating vintage garments and accessory patterns for these bodies.
